Boys over Flowers Episode 2 Story Synopsis

Geum Jan Di clears the trash out of the swimming pool and heads to the dressing room. Jun-Pyo’s helpers try to molest Jan-di there, but Yoon Ji-hoo saves her. When Jun-Pyo comes to know about what his helpers tried to do, he is enraged and tells them that he asked them only to scare her. That day evening, Jan-di tells her friend Chu Ga Eul that one person in the F4 is different from the rest. After work she returns home in her bicycle and admires a mobile phone advertisement that features Min Seo Hyun. After a while, she spots Yoon Ji Hoo at the bus stop looking at Min Se Hyun’s poster, leaning against it passionately. She stops near him and asks Ji-Hoo if he likes her too. She tells him that no matter how much he like her, touching the billboard like that can dirty his hand. She pulls some tissues from her bag and instead of offering it to Ji-Hoo, walks and cleans the billboard. Ji-Hoo smiles seeing that. Jan-di chatters about Min Se Hyun for a while and tells that she wishes that Min Seo Hyun will married into the Royal Household or a person that one day be President and contribute to the world. She also gives some examples of such cases. Ji-Hoo gets annoyed and walks away. At home, her Brother tells her about a 2nd year Shinhwa student nicknamed as Miss K who is pregnant.
The next day Jan-di finds that the Ms K in the gossip is her. The trio and the other students harass her. Jun-Pyo tells the rest of F4 that she will emerge anytime there. Ji-Hoo tries to reason with Jun-Pyo and Jun-Pyo tells him not to interfere. The trio puts dirty towels on Jan-di’s desk . Jan-di loses her temper and storms out taking the dirty towel with her. She barges into the F4 room. Instead of the apology Gun Pyo expected, Jan-di throws the dirty towel on him. Goo Joo Pyo throws the towel on the floor and confronts Geum Jan Di. She delivers a spinning tornado kick across Goo Joon Pyo’s face and he falls to the ground. Jun-Pyo is shocked while the rest of F4 members are amazed by the guts of Geum Jan Di. She asks him he has seen her sleeping with a man or even holding hands with one. She reveals to him that she even have not had her first kiss. She threatens him that if he played games with her again, that time it will be definitely will be the death of him.
That day evening, the rest of F4 members find Goo Joon Pyo smiling to himself. So Yi Jung tells Song Woo Bin that in his entire school life there have never an eventful day like that. He tells that Jan-di looks rather like someone familiar. Both of them remember that Jan-di reminds them of Jun-Pyo’s sister Joon Hee. Jun Pyo tells them not to compare his elder sister with a commoner. Song Woo Bin asks Jun Pyo why he is sitting laughing to yourself like an idiot. Jun Pyo tells them that Jan-di is smitten with him. He tells them that she told him about her innocence and about not being kissed because she does not want any misunderstanding. He tells them that she is hinting that she is waiting for me to give her first kiss.
The next day Geum Jan Di reaches school but goes sneaking around to avoid detection. She is forcefully takes from there by some Men in a Car. She wakes up and finds masseurs massaging her body. They wax her legs and apply make up on her. They do her hair and make her wear a beautiful dress and accessories. After that Jan-di is lead by a Butler through the interiors of an enormous house. Jan-di asks if it is Korean President’s residence but the Butler tell her that it is not. She asks him where he is taking her and who she is supposed to meet but get no clear answers from the Butler. Jan-di finds a man standing with his back in the room and thinks it is Ji-Hoo. Geum Jan Di is shocked when Goo Joon Pyo turns around and reveals himself. She asks him what he is trying to do. Jun Pyo replies that he has done what he wanted to do and turns her towards the mirror. He tells her that he spend 100 million won on her transformation. He asks her to tell him that she likes him. He tells that he is willing to treat her like a girlfriend when no one is around and that she could enjoy a lot more favors from him every day. Jan-di fumes in anger and tells him that when she looks at his face her whole body feels the tingles as though insects are crawling on it. She tells him that he cannot buy her with his money. Geum Jan Di takes the earrings and necklace off and drops it on the floor. She starts to take off the clothes she is wearing and asks for her uniform. Geum Jan Di wears her uniform marches out of Goo Joon Pyo’s house. Goo Joon Pyo vents his frustration on the things that Geum Jan Di was wearing and asks the Butler to fire all who was a part in doing her make over. On her way to home, Geum Jan Di realises that she is still wearing the shoes from the make over and throws it over the fence. She meets Yoon Ji Hoo there. They sit and have a friendly chat at a near by Park. As they talk, Ji Hoo is amused and ruffles her hair. Before leaving Yoon Ji Hoo takes a pair of sneakers from his Gym Bag and throws it at Geum Jan Di instructing her to wear it.
The next day, Geum Jan Di looks around for Yoon Ji Hoon to return his shoes but does not see him. She goes to the F4 hangs out and is confronted by Song Woo Bin and So Yi Jung. Song Woo Bin tells her that Joon Pyo is not here. She tells him that she would not have come if he was there and starts to go. Song Woo Bin notices that she is carrying Ji-Hoo’s shoes and asks her about it. He gives the paper bag with the Shoes and asks them to pass it over to Ji-Hoo. When she is about to go So Yi Jung stops her and asks her to have tea with them. They have a friendly chat and Guys appreciate her for her guts. They then notice Min Seo Hyun’s mobile ad on the television and tells that Ji-Hoo would be pleased. They further reveal to her that Min Seo Hyun is like an elder sister to them but for Ji-Hoo she is his first love and lover. Geum Jan Di feels dejected hearing it.
Next day morning at the school play ground Jan-di recalls what So Yi Jung said about Ji-Hoo’s relationship with Min Seo Hyun. Then the 3 mean girls approach her and one of them deliberately throws a ball at her. Jan-di falls down bleeding from both nostrils. The girls mock at her. Jan-di gets up and walks from there without uttering a word. The F4 Guys playing basket ball near by notices her out of character behavior. Jun Pyo goes near her and tries to help with his handkerchief when she washes the blood from her nose. Jan-di pushes him away. Jun Pyo further scolds her for not paying attention at the playing ground and asks her to stop crying as it does not suit her. Jan-di asks him should he be not happy the most if she is hurt and cried. Jun Pyo tells him that he sincerely came to help her. Jan-di is angry and tells him that even if everyone is dead and he only is left, she would not want and help from him and that she would rather bleed to death that taking help from him. Jun Pyo pulls Jan-di back as she is about to walk away and asks her, “I am handsome, tall, intelligent and rich. How can you not like Goo Joon Pyo? Are you really an idiot?” Geum Jan di replies, “It looks like you don’t really understand. The whole looks of you makes me sick. Your face… your despicable walk… your curly hair … I completely hate everything about you”. She further lectures him on not wearing the uniform like others . She tells him that he is a foolish ignorant idiot who issues red card to weak and defenseless students. She adds that she despises everything about Jun Pyo and storms from there leaving Jun Pyo dumbfounded. Jun Pyo takes out his frustration by playing Rugby and then takes a shower to cool him off. He comes down the stairs after taking the shower and notices the poster of Shinhwa school excursion. Jan di tells Chu Ga Eul that the school excursion costs 2 million won and the whole school except her is going. Chu Ga Eul then gets an offer for a paid working holiday and the caller tells her that she can take Geum Jan Di also. The girls are happy.
At the flight Departure Hall Jun Pyo is waiting for Jan-di to make an appearance. Yoon Ji Hoo also is waiting for someone. Song Woo Bin asks him why he is not taking a chartered flight as usual instead of a commercial airliner. Jun Pyo tells him that it is a school excursion and he of want to experience the hardship. At the airport, students admire Min Seo Hyun’s posters and Ji-Hoo dislikes it. Min Seo Hyun comes walking out of the arrival hall and is surrounded by screaming fans as Ji-Hoo looks on. Min Seo Hyun dismisses her fans and comes running to hug Yoo Ji Hoo. Gun Pyo, So Yi Jung and Song Woo Bin are seated on the flight. Jun Pyo finds out that Geum Jan Di is not coming for the excursion and gets a call regarding her whereabouts.

Geum Jan Di and Chu Ga Eul are traveling on the fishing trawler with their fishing rods singing. After some time they sleep off. Suddenly they wakes up hearing an announcement on speaker. Geum Jan Di then sees a ocean liner towering over their trawler with the Shinhwa school students on board and Gun Pyo speaking on the the speaker. He tells her that they are holidaying at the same location she is going. Jan-di tells him that she would be grateful if he pretends not to know her and asks him to carry on with his cruise. The ocean liner goes from there rocking the boat and splashing water on Geum Jan Di and Chu Ga Eul. The girls reach the jetty drenching wet from their fishing trip and find Jun Pyo and the other students there. A Car comes there just then and Ji Hoo gets out of it followed by Min Seo Hyun. Jun Pyo invites to join them, but Jan-di refuses. Ji-Hoo goes near her and tells her that there is a Party held for Seo Hyun and invites her and Ga Eul. Jan-di readily agrees while Jun Pyo is annoyed seeing it. The trio girls go near Jan-di and tells her that since the Seniors Joon Pyo and Ji-Hoo has extended the Invitation for the Party she should attend it. They tell her that they forgot to inform her something and closes on her. Min Seo Hyun watches it from a distance.
Geum Jan Di arrives at the Party and peeps in. She sees everybody in evening cocktail dresses. She realizes that she had been tricked by the Trio who told her that it is a Costume Party. She tries to go away from there unnoticed but the trio finds her. They pull her overcoat making her fall and revealing the Wonder Women costume underneath. The girl mocks at her. Jun Pyo moves towards Jandi, but stops when he sees Ji-Hoo who walks ahead. Ji-Hoo takes off his jacket and drapes it on Geum Jan Di. Min Seo Hyun also comes there and tries to clean the mess from Jan-di by using her handkerchief. Min Seo Hyun then confronts the trio about their bad behavior. She asks Ji-Hoo to help Jan-di to her room and follows them. At the room, Min Seo Hyun makes Jan-di wear a dress and applies make up on her. They have a friendly chat and Seo Hyun tells her that Jan-di should be special person for Ji-Hoo to show his sensitive side. She also talks about Jun Pyo’s childhood and tells her that he is lonely. Min Seo Hyun makes her wear a pair of shoes telling, “A fine pair of shoes will bring you a fine place”. Min Seo Hyun then holds her hand and they walk back to the party. Min Seo Hyun leaves Jan-di at the door of the Party Hall and walks to Ji-Hoo. The F4 is amazed to see how beautiful Jan-di looks. Gun Pyo is stunned by her beauty and drops his plate. Min Seo Hyun tells Ji-Hoo that it is not gentlemanly to leave a beautiful girl like that and pushes him to bring Jan-di to the Party Hall. Ji-Hoo goes near Jan-di and asks for her hand.
